12 Linajes Verdejo 2014, 2nd consecutive year in which this wine gets the GOLD Medal.
Update time:15-07-12
The 13th edition of the International Bacchus Wine Awards took place this year. Organized by the Unión Española de Catadores (U.E.C.), Bacchus Awards is the most important exponent of the Spanish wine´s sector where over 1,500 wines were reviewed by prestigious tasters and with the support of the Organization Internationale de la Vigne et du Vin (O.I.V.)
Only 178 wines from more of the 1,500 wines that have been tasted, have deserved this distinction. Our 12 Linajes Verdejo 2014 (once again) has been one of them, being one of the thirteen wines from the D.O. Rueda that have obtained this distinction.
12 Linajes Verdejo is probably one of the wines with the best value for money among the wines awarded:
"Pleasant and subtle entry. Round and well balanced, smooth and persistent. Very elegant", and with a price (around 6€ retail price) unbeatable in its quality category.
Moreover, our wines from Ribera del Duero 12 Linajes Crianza 2012 y 12 Linajes Reserva 2010 obtained silver medals, a great result considering that only 30% of rated wines have received medals.
The International Bacchus awards have an enormous international prestige, with the support of the Organization Internationale de la Vigne et du Vin (O.I.V.) and the VINOFED federation, requires strict rules that are rigorously applied, guaranteeing credibility not only for the contest results but also to the mentions that get the wines.
